ULEED Community Scholarship Program

ULEED is proud to announce their very first scholarship!

Through the Community Scholarship Program, ULEED seeks to increase the number of young adults seeking a career by awarding qualified students with financial support to further their education. Through this scholarship, ULEED hopes to greatly increase visibility in trades as well as the educational community.

The ULEED Community Scholarship Program furthers the organizations’ core purpose of providing educational opportunities to young adults enrolled and/or seeking to enroll in a Trade or Certification Program.


This year we are giving away 4 scholarships! Three
- Tomorrow's Future Leader Scholarships; and
    One - Lourdes Rodriguez Scholarship

Each award will be $1,000.00. All applicants must meet the requirements below and apply by April 5, 2013.

Requirements:

  • Must be between the ages of 18-25
  • Must reside in the following Chicago communities of Belmont Craigin, Logan Square, Hermosa, or Humboldt Park
  • Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D
  • Must show proof of residency
  • Commit to 20 hours of community service with the ULEED organization; if award this scholarship.
  • NOTE: The Lourdes Rodriguez Scholarship is open to Males of Puerto Rican Decent (ONLY)
