Thank you very much for registering for the 21st Annual ILACHE Professional and Student Development Conference. This conference will bring together speakers from throughout Illinois. You will have an opportunity to network with several hundred ILACHE members and learn about different areas of professional practice. We welcome you to this professional development opportunity.
Our theme this year is “From Numbers to Action: Advancing Latino Educational Attainment and Leadership.” Our conference will take place on Friday, April 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. It will be hosted by St. Augustine College at their main campus located at 1345 West Argyle, Chicago, IL. The campus is conveniently accessible by public transportation. The CTA Red Line station at Argyle is two blocks from the conference site.
You are encouraged to take public transportation to the conference. The CTA Red Line (Lawrence stop), Lawrence Bus #81 (Broadway stop) Broadway Bus #36 (Argyle stop) or Clark Bus #22 (Argyle stop) all are within walking distance to St. Augustine College. If you plan to drive you may park at the Aragon Ballroom (1106 West Lawrence Ave) Parking Lot located on Winthrop Ave and Lawrence Ave. For your convenience, we have arranged shuttle service between the parking lot and the College. In the morning you may board the shuttle in front of the Aragon Ballroom every 15 minutes between 9:00 am to11am. Shuttles to the parking lot will leave from outside the Colleges' main building at the top of the hour during the day and every 15 minutes between 6 pm to 8:30 pm.
