NATIONAL HISPANIC HEALTH PROFESSIONAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

The National Hispanic Health Foundation, affiliated with the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, New York University, will award 24 scholarships to graduate students in dental, medical, public health, policy, physician assistant, pharmacy, and podiatry students and BSN or graduate students in nursing school, who exhibit exceptional academic performance, documented leadership activities, and commitment to a career providing healthcare services to the Hispanic community in the US. Eleven recipients will receive $5,000/year for two years and thirteen recipients will receive $2,000 for 1 year. 

 
The scholarships will be presented to awardees at the Seventh Annual California Scholarship Gala in Los Angeles on Thursday, November 20, 2014 or the Eleventh Annual New York Scholarship Gala in New York City on Thursday, December 4, 2014.

·         Incomplete applications will not be considered by the review committee.

·         **Note*:  We recommend and prefer that your application be mailed with a return-receipt requested, in order to verify its submission. We also encourage all *completed* applications to be mailed in ONE envelope or e-mailed in ONE PDF.

·         Unofficial copy of school transcripts for the CURRENT 2013-2014 school year.

 

 

*NOTE:* if it is your first year and you do not have a current

transcript of upcoming classes, you need to provide an enrollment verification from your university to show you are accepted into health professional graduate schools in addition to past year’s transcript.
